2023 is our 15th year of making market magic and we’re bringing the fun back to Melbourne this October at the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building!
From ceramics to art, fashion to food, our market events are a celebration of creativity, slow-made and conscious shopping from local makers and designers. Join the mindfully made & thoughtfully bought revolution with us this Spring!
We are so thrilled to have teamed up with Squarespace for our Spring Summer Market Season in Melbourne and Sydney.
As Australia's leading design market, our small business is fuelled by our love of creativity and design. We seek to connect, inspire and empower the creative community, values we share with the team at Squarespace.
WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES
Join in a creative workshop hosted by ClassBento! From cocktails to painting ceramics, there's something on each day of the market. See the schedule & book here >
The kids can get collaging with our pals at See Make Play, right next door to The Sweet Spot! Ride that sugar high with the likes of Cakehouse Collective, Mrs Brown Bakes, and try some rainbow seaweed chocolates from newcomers Alg Seaweed.
THE CHANGE ROOM: EXPLORING FAIR FASHION
NEW! Meet a swag of positive change-makers in the new fashion-centric zone, The Change Room. Bring your worn-out textiles and see how they can be recycled with Upparel. Shop IRL from cult label Nala underwear (usually only online!), meet our pals from Peppermint Magazine (win 1 of 5 subscriptions by getting your tickets online!), and try on your new fave hat as we welcome back Will & Bear - plus many more fair fashion labels!
The Change Room brings together brands that are creating and driving positive change in the fashion industry, using business as a force for good. These labels are just a sample of all the good being done by our creative stallholder community!
INDIGENOUS PROGRAM
This season we welcome Indigenous start-up Gardening On Country as our Indigenous Program recipient. This Indigenous-owned and Australian-made brand uses about 75 plastic bottle lids to make each of their long-lasting gardening tools!
Meet and support all the First Nations stallholders at this Melbourne/ Narrm Market: Haus of Dizzy, Clothing The Gaps, Baljil Art, Alejandro Lauren, Wulkaraka Designs and Sea Bubs.
BARS, BREWS & BEATS
Kick back with a bevvy from our bars hosted by Minimum Wines (new vintage release!), Listo (margaritas & mocktails!) and Molly Rose Brewing (with a bottle shop!) while listening to live DJ sets. Allpress will keep us fuelled across the weekend with hot coffee and cold filter cans to go.
RECHARGE LOUNGE WITH COCOBELLA
Recharge mind, body and devices as we bring back the Recharge Lounge thanks to Cocobella.
